On the first level of The Wallace Monument you can learn the amazing story of William Wallace, the man who took his fight for freedom into battle and achieved victory at The Battle of Stirling Bridge in the year 1297.
Visit the Wallace Monument to see Wallace’s mighty broadsword, and listen to the words spoken at his trial to understand his drive to achieve Scottish freedom.
